CAD / CAM systems provide a great advantage especially for patients with hyperactive gag reflex. Patients with hyperactive gag reflexes can now have prosthesis at ease and within a single session. Shortening the time of dental treatment and preparing the porcelain crowns in a single visit provides a great benefit to patients in overcoming dental phobia. In addition, the restorations produced with computer aided systems has shown a better fit comparing to other systems. This increases the success rate of the long-term restoration.
